Normally, the business ships within 72 hours upon processing. Given the necessary changes in our Operations after the competitive attacks on our Small Business, today, we've implemented a 1 month shipping policy until further notice.
All orders should be intact, manual adjustments (print changes, split shipments, address changes) will not be possible during this time.
All orders from previous years have been shipped out or refunded.

- Is SHHHOWERCAP® an ethical company?
- Absolutely! We are a Female Founded and Small Business that has been successfully operating with timely shipments since 2015. Since 2015, we have shipped hundreds of thousands of orders to brand fans and loyalists across the world! We're honored and excited to continue to build this brand along with you for years to come.
- Have you had any shipping issues? Are you experiencing disruptions currently? I’ve read some negative reporting online.
- We suffered a business disruption on a portion of orders while navigating a website platform migration and a series of fraudulent orders on our company's website. Our visibility and Operations were impacted and a relatively small pocket of orders suffered a series of complications that were then forced to be manually processed. This process was incredibly complicated and took longer than anyone would have liked to resolve and move past.
During this time, we collectively needed to shift gears and devote all time and energy to the back end and the customers themselves versus responding to the negative reporting which was exploding. This is
Despite what you may read, we were always shipping, never completely stalled as a business, and are back on track with new policies and processes today.
Our business has been owned and operated at scale since 2015, shipped hundreds of thousands of orders across the world since then, and has had glowing reviews across the internet since day one. Specifically, a B+ rating on BBB and a 4-star rating on TrustPilot. We look forward to getting back to that place with the support of our loyal customer base, brand fans, and future new devotees of SHHHOWERCAP receiving best-in-class service every day.
PLEASE NOTE: All last remaining impacted orders from this time period have been shipped out! And, we’re still seeing a lot of confusion from our customer base. We're handling those on a case by case basis.
The negative reporting is a moment in time and we understand why you'd be concerned. We’re using our facts of payment and fulfillment to correct individually and collectively and working with our Partners & Platforms so this is corrected overall.

- My order has been impacted (by the situation above) and I still haven’t received it.
- Oh no! At this time there are no delayed or impacted orders from prior to end of year 2024 remaining.
Please review your records to see if you had previously requested a refund or filed a chargeback for the order. If so, in either instance, your order was cancelled at that time and will not be fulfilled. If anything is outstanding, let us know and we're happy to address it.

What are normal shipping times today for domestic shipments?
We ship via USPS for all orders within the USA. With processing, our shipping times are generally less than 5 business days for Standard or under 3 days for Expedited. Today, we are requesting up to 30 days processing for all orders until further notice. THIS CHANGE IS TEMPORARY. We appreciate your patience while we prioritize the satisfaction of all customers.
What are normal shipping times today for International shipments?
Internationally, we ship with various shipping carriers depending on your region. Every country is different, after you receive tracking, please allow for up to 14 days for your order to arrive before reaching out to our Customer Care team.
How do I track my order?
For tracking on your order, you can log in to your Account and check tracking yourself. Or click the link sent to you in your Shipping Confirmation.

- I filed a Chargeback and I eventually received the product! What do I do now?

If you filed and received a Chargeback and then also received the order shipped to you - we ask that you alert the bank and request a "Chargeback Withdrawal" to correct the record with the reporting bank. This reversal action means the world to our Female Founded Small Business in order to have a corrected and accurate record moving forward. Its very important and very helpful at this moment in time for our reporting customers to do this while we continue to do the same as the Merchant. We appreciate you considering doing so!
- Has the quality of your patented product stayed consistent as you've grown?
- Absolutely! We are loyal to our materials suppliers from Fabric to Trims as well as our American based printer and cut & sew Factories here in and around NYC and New Jersey. We have used the same network for dedicated SHHHOWERCAP® production volume since day one. Quality is everything for the luxurious first of it's kind invention. Never settle for cheap imitations.
- I love your company and I love my SHHHOWERCAP. How can I support you?

- I received the wrong print and I need the original that I selected. What should I do?
- If you received a print that you didn’t order, select on site, or approve in communication with us then we are more than happy to make it right for you. Reach out to our small but mighty customer support team, via DM or email, and we will help!
- Will I still receive my order if I've already received, or requested to receive, a full refund for my purchase?
- Unfortunately, no, you will not receive your order in this instance. If you have received a reimbursement or have requested one, your order will have been canceled in our systems when that refund was accepted and processed. If you've received reimbursement in full for your SHHHOWERCAP® purchase, have filed a chargeback and been reimbursed another way, or have written in to request a full refund through our Customer Service or Social Media channels at that time we will have gone ahead and canceled your order entirely. We are a Small Business, despite how large we may seem, with a high-quality product.
As much as we wish we could ship goods for free in these instances — we're simply unable to do so at this time. We appreciate your understanding!

- What happens after I submit a chargeback? Who is responsible for a refund if it’s resolved in my favor or pending?
- After a chargeback is submitted, it’s entirely up to your financial institution to decide the outcome of it from what we provide to them. We are not able to issue a refund from our website once a dispute has been opened. If resolved in your favor, your bank will be the one issuing a refund and providing a final resolution. If your Chargeback is pending, the funds are pulled from the business at that time, and we can not process orders to be shipped out that we have no longer been paid for. We appreciate your understanding.
- Have your Social Media comments ever been off?
- Yes! We did this in the past as most brands do. Honestly, because we want our relatively small internal Brand and Marketing team to devote all energy to our customers! When managing our Instagram was a distraction from our 1:1 Customer interactions which is the most important thing to us, our Founder + CEO, and our Company right now. We're learning so much and inspired by these conversations and that will be applied to the future.

- I didn’t order this. Why have I received a package from SHHHOWERCAP?
- That means that someone loves you! Most of these "unknown" orders we find were intended to be gifts. We're the best gift! We hope you can still enjoy your cap or give it to a friend who could use it?! If you have no idea who gifted you please let us know and we can look into that for you.

- Do you ship internationally?
- Yes! SHHHOWERCAP® ships to France, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Norway, Luxembourg, and more outside of the United States. If you do not see your country at checkout, please reach out to us and let us know!
Please note, that international shipping prices include duties and taxes. Please also note that international orders are unfortunately not valid for return.
- What if my order was lost in transit?
- Great question! We offer an excellent service called Route Protection and that is available on all orders. If this option was selected at chhheck out, simply follow the instructions to initiate the resend of your shhhowercap.com order directly at no cost. If this option was not selected, we ask that you reach out to your Carrier for more information.
- What forms of payments do you accept on Shhhowercap.com?
- Normally, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal, but due to the competitive attacks on our small business, while we work to correct the issues, we are currently only accepting PayPal and Venmo. All payments from non-US cards will be charged an additional 1% fee. This is temporary.
- What currency is the price listed in?
- Our website displays the currency in USD ($49) and does not automatically convert to local currency. Please note that conversion fees may apply.

- What is your returns policy?
- We have a 90-day trial policy for US domestic orders only. Please see more information here or select the '90 Days of Never Settle' link at the bottom of this page.

- Why should I use a shower cap?
- Most beauty blogs, influencers, publications, and hairstylists will tell you to cut down on your washes because it's better for your hair. And it is.
Less shampoo and less styling means less daily damage to your gorgeous locks. See here. However, we're also into shower caps for another reason. We're busy! If we can protect blowouts on amazing hair days and save a ton of getting ready time? Yes, please. Using a shower cap is literally like giving you more hours in your day.
- Why should I use a SHHHOWERCAP®?
- We took a look at the world's existing shower caps and realized that as much as we needed them, they were actually horrible. Extremely horrible. And they made women feel horrible. Which is just ridiculous. So, we set out to create a version that would make women feel amazing. We evaluated it for both form and function. It wasn't enough for SHHHOWERCAP to look good (we're not superficial) it had to work better, too. So we listened in focus groups. We asked women with different hairstyles and lengths, and we identified pretty much every problem that existed with what is currently on the market. And then we fixed it. - Yep! You can wash SHHHOWERCAP in a cold cycle and line dry (do not tumble dry). Care instructions are printed on the tag. Remember to treat it like a delicate!
- Is SHHHOWERCAP latex free?
- Our interior band is made of silicone rubber and we're proud to say that SHHHOWERCAP is latex free. If you're allergic to silicone, we're sorry.
- It looks so sleek! Does SHHHOWERCAP fit all different hair types?
- Yes! SHHHOWERCAP is one size fits all. And we've fit tested on every type of hair texture, length, and hairstyle. Everything from a full head of long braids to big, thick, voluminous, red headed curls. Our patented design allows for a fitted look in the front and the pocket in the back is where all our secrets (and hair) are held. The fuller your hair, the more you must utilize the back pocket. It holds more than you think!

- Designed with sass in Brooklyn, we are New York born and bred just like our Founder & Inventor. SHHHOWERCAP® is proudly printed, cut, sewn, bonded, fused, and assembled in New York City, United States using imported raw materials that are unable to be found here here in the USA, specifically luxurious raw materials like our unprinted performance fabric from Taiwan & also our trims that come from overseas. Our quality is paramount and as the original patented turban shower cap, with many knockoffs made overseas, this is one of the many reasons we believe that domestic manufacturing is so important!
- How else can I use my SHHHOWERCAP®?
- See, normally you'd never dream of wearing a shower cap outside of the house. But, SHHHOWERCAP looks like a fashion turban so you can rock it wherever. You can use your SHHHOWERCAP for an overnight hydrating treatment with an oil or serum or try using an intensive leave-in conditioner on a weekly basis.
